1st Grade - Symmetrical Butterflies









5th Grade - Cherry Blossoms



5th graders learned about the annual Cherry Blossom festival that takes place in Washington D.C. each spring. They learned about the history of the Cherry Blossom and how they were considered a peace offering from Japan !

4th Grade - Mandala



3rd Grade - Desert Landscapes

3rd graders have been working so hard on their desert landscape collages. 3rd graders used tissue paper, brown paper bags,  painted paper and  A TON of modpodge (glue) to create these awesome landscapes!

OH - and they are able to label where the horizon line, foreground, and background are in a landscape! SO PROUD!!



2nd Grade - Georgia O'Keeffe Flowers

2nd grade students were inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe's large paintings of flowers.
 Students were encouraged to zoom in so close that their drawing would go off the edge of their paper! How beautiful and bright are these?! SO impressed!!




1st Grade Van Gogh Sunflowers

1st graders viewed Vincent van Gogh's famous sunflower paintings and created their own versions using oil pastels and watercolor paints!
