1st grade - Pattern Pumpkins

First grade practiced making line patterns and added them to each section of their fall pumpkins in order to create a pattern pumpkin!

Now we just need to add paint!

Monochromatic Portraits

Be uniquely you. Stand out. Shine. Be colorful!

We began each year with a school-wide project where each grade is assigned a different color and creates a self-portrait!
They look amazing and add so much color to our stairwell!

Students were introduced to hatching and crosshatching techniques. They had the creative freedom to draw any image they wanted as long as they included highlights and shadows in their image.
